User Types
There are five user types depending on user requirements. More details about user type functionality is shown below.

Access
Access to the DSB core cost recovery services is via web based GUI or FIX API or REST API.
For Power, Standard, Search Only or Infrequent users :
- Review the DSB policy documents
- Complete the DSB OTC ISIN Subscription Form and return to the DSB Client Admin.
- Complete the registration forms (Production and/or UAT and UAT2) and send to DSB Technical Support.
For Registered Users:
- Review the Terms and Conditions
- Complete the registration forms (Production and/or UAT) and send to DSB Technical Support.
Registered User
Web Access
- Real-time search for ISINs by identifier
- Real-time search for ISINs by attributes
- Maximum of 5 records returned per search
Infrequent User
Web Access
- Real-time search for ISINs by identifier
- Real-time search for ISINs by attributes
- Maximum of 5 records returned per search
- Create maximum of 100 new ISINs per invoicing period
Search Only API User
Web Access
- Real-time search for ISINs by identifier
- Real-time search for ISINs by attributes
- Maximum of 50 records returned per search
Standard User
Web Access
- Real-time search for ISINs by identifier
- Real-time search for ISINs by attributes
- Maximum of 50 records returned per search
- Create maximum of 5,000 new ISINs per invoicing period
Power User
Web Access
- Real-time search for ISINs by identifier
- Real-time search for ISINs by attributes
- Maximum of 500 records returned per search
- Create new ISINs – capped subject to Acceptable Use Policy

- Retrieve ISIN Record by Attribute
- Retrieve ISIN Record by ISIN
- Search for ISIN Records by Attribute
- Maximum of 10 API connections
- Search limit of 100,000 search request in any given calendar week
- Create limit of 50,000 ISIN creation requests in any given calendar week
